Watch the Stolen Art: WWII, Americans, The Nazi’s and a Monumental American Story

The CW 33 News at 9 aired a fascinating special about Robert Edsel’s remarkable role in recognizing the Monuments Men who were instrumental in saving a lot of the artworks in Europe during World War II after Hitler and the Nazis had stolen it. The TV special showcases a living monuments man, Harry Ettlinger, and the efforts of the National World War II Museum in recognizing this group of mostly American soldiers.
