Hello Robert,

My name is Phil Hettema… I was creative director/producer for “Beyond All Boundaries” at the national WWII Museum. I certainly have to agree with your comment about the two “Toms”. My experience with Tom Hanks in the production of the museum presentation bore out everything you said… he couldn’t have been more supportive or generous in his time and counsel as the project came together.

I was hoping to met you over the last weekend, as I had just finished reading “Monuments Men” a few days earlier (at Nick Mueller’s recommendation). Congratulations on the book. I couldn’t put it down, and have recommended it to everyone I know as one of the most fascinating stories I’ve come across in a long time.

I hope our paths cross at some point in the future – in the meantime thanks for giving me a great experience!
